IEBC sacks 4 officers in Vihiga county ahead of tomorrows poll.

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC has sacked 4 people whom they had contracted to noersee the election process in Vihiga county.

Deputy Returning officer in Vihiga county Charles Avedi said that the decision was made after it was found that they had links with ANC leader Musiala Mudavadi who is one of NASA co-principles.

The officers are said to have involved in ANC party primaries and according to the IEBC laws it is unacceptable.

Mr Avedi said that Vihiga  Governors party Progressive Party of Kenya (PPK) complained about the officers and the commission had to take action.

Three of the officers include James Aluda who was assigned to oversee the exercise in Busali Ward,Akhalakwa Makabuti was assigned as a clerk in Hamisi sub county,Catherine Jayo was to be in Vihiga sub-county while Ongadi Mulegi was to oversee the process in Sabatia sub-county.
